Check Out Our New Beat Maps!

Hello all.

Committee Members Mike Green (Chair) and Graeme Webster (Website Editor) have been hard at work developing the beat maps for the website. The previous maps are a work of art (and are still available) but feedback from some new members was that they could be hard to read, particularly when trying to find parking and access to the beats themselves.

The new maps ave been made using Google Maps and show the beats thenselves (left and right bank), pools and marks and also parking. The pools and marks have photos to help to identify them. (You may notice that at the time of posting not all marks have pictures so please feel free to help out and share some if you have any).

The added advantage of using Google Maps, of course, is that you can use it as a sat nav to take you straight to the parking spot for any new beats that you haven’t previously fished. Nifty eh?!
